Online Stakeholder Engagement Session on
"Supporting Children's Mental Health during COVID-19 Pandemic"

The Commission on Children organised an online stakeholder engagement session on 2 December 2022 on the topic of "Supporting Children's Mental Health during COVID-19 Pandemic" to garner views of stakeholders from different sectors with an aim to understand the stress and challenges faced by children and parents as well as their needs under COVID-19 epidemic.

A total of about 90 participants, including children with special needs, their parents and professionals offering related services, attended the online engagement session. Apart from sharing their feelings and views, the participants also offered suggestions to support the various needs of children and parents as well as improving their mental well-being.

The engagement session was moderated by members of the Commission on Children with attendance of representatives from the Health Bureau, the Education Bureau and the Labour and Welfare Bureau.
