Terms of Reference

1. To review services and support on child protection, including for children with specific needs;
2. To advise on review of policies, legislation and services on children in order to identify areas for improvement and recommend measures to bridge any gaps;
3. To promote matters related to child protection and children’s interest, well-being and development as well as the importance of children’s interests through public education and engagement, including children’s rights and values as articulated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child;
4. To facilitate children participation and promote public engagement with relevant stakeholders through effective avenues; and
5. To manage the Funding Scheme for Children’s Well-being and Development for eligible organisations to organise publicity activities or community projects on children-related matters.
